Clearing Sunroofs Drains - With What?

Yep - soaking carpets and I've narrowed it down to a blocked drainpipe which had also partially come adrift from the sunroof. Any suggestions as to what material will work to unblock it - it's nearly 4ft long and the blockage is near the bottom (but not near enough to drag out - typical!!) Need help quick before it rains!

I've used that net curtain wire in the past. It's flexible but robust enough to clear the blockage.

 

You can normally buy it from your local DIY store or curtain outlet.

Pleased it worked OK.

 

Don't tell the manufacturers about it or they'll slap a part number on it, call it a specialist tool and charge an arm and a leg for it. :lol:

Net curtain wire is also useful for threading speaker wire through rooflinings, behind interior trim etc; always keep a spare length in your toolbox :lol:
